Music and Worship Arts at the Cathedral

Choir-Our choir sings at both the 9 and 11am services on Sunday mornings. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:30pm. The choir also performs live in concerts during the Christmas season, and at other special events. Our choir has been featured on all of our cd recordings. If you are interested in joining the choir, please see Kelly Tanza or Fr. Joe Ciccarello.

Band-Intercessor currently has five worship teams with some members serving in more than one band. The band(s)meet mostly on Thursday evenings in conjunction with the choir, but occasionally utilize different rehearsal times. In addition to providing instrumentation for our services, several of the band members have contributed their skills to our cd recordings. If you are a skilled instrumentalist interested in becoming a member of one of our worship teams, please see Kelly Tanza or Fr. Joe Ciccarello.

More information about our dance, drama, and technical arts ministries coming soon..

WATER FOR LIFE CONCERT A GREAT SUCCESS!

On Friday, June 6, the Cathedral Church of the Intercessor hosted a concert to benefit “Water For Life”, which is an organization that provides wells for people in villages in underdeveloped countries.

The Cathedral Church of the Intercessor choir, along with “Paul Ammendola and Friends”, the Mosaic Nazarene Church band, and the Paul Paoli band, provided over two hours of hand clapping, foot stomping, uplifting music to the glory of God, and for the benefit of this worthwhile organization.

The amount of money raised was over $10,000 which will provide drinking water for 2 villages!

Thanks to all who participated by sharing their talents and time, and thanks to the people who came out to support this–it was a great evening!

Glory to God in the Highest!!
