One of the goals of The Cathedral Church of The Intercessor is to build strong families within our community. The # 1 thing that causes divorce in North America is money problems. The Stewardship Ministry team is committed to building strong families by providing resources for families to put their financial matters in order. Psalm 24:1 (NIV) tells us that “The earth is The Lord’s and everything in it,”. This means that anything that passes through our hands has been entrusted to us by God. It is our responsibility to manage God’s resources properly. This verse implies more than just money, but think of how much we deal with money matters on a day to day basis. We buy food to eat; we pay for our rent, utility bills, buy gifts and so many other things. We deal with money matters constantly. Please consider signing up for the Financial Peace University Course. This is one way to help ensure a strong future for your family. Following the FPU course, a support group will meet once a month to address ongoing questions and the financial concerns of our community.

We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!
